My brother Jamie hired Manley & Manley in March of 2022, he was facing serious felony DUI charges and had not had a drivers license in 22 years. Mike Manley asked my brother to trust him and if he did, my brother would not go to prison and he would obtain his drivers license. I run a small farmstead and have been for the better part of a decade. I found myself in a situation I never thought would have been possible. I got caught in a whirlwind of misunderstanding and fear. I was being accused of a felony while securely in my rights to defend myself and my property. I never hid the truth or denied access in finding the truth. I was acting as any good citizen would. Honest upfront and nothing to hide. I was the one who brought the situation to light. Even then the system can come after you and spin the truth into a story made for shock click bait. Manley and Manley was the saving grace. I reached out and they right away knew a path to take. I then again gave all the information and backstory I could. Probably talked too much. LOL. But that was just fuel for the fire that is Manley and Manley. They are the picture of what the AMERICAN SPIRIT is. The MICHIGAN mindset. You have rights, You are a person, You will get your story told. They did not just pass this one case off to one person. They involved everybody. The one that took lead for me was Mr. Bigger. Just his confidence in the court alone would earn him the name Bigger, if it wasn't already his surname. Even the lovely case managers in the office were all part in the task. It truly is a breath of air and a sigh of relief to witness a group practice a craft they truly enjoy, that recharges them, that gives them drive. That is what you get from anyone on that team. My case was tipped on the scales way against me. My rights were thrown out the window and I was disregarded. Mr. Bigger led the charge and showed to me , to the people that we have rights and those are not just tossed aside for someone's opinion. This country this state was built on citizens farming, growing for themselves for the community and we will not be pushed aside because of misguided virtues in the world. A small case. A case that truly should not have even been a thing. I am grateful it was.
