I have just made my first call and just the Attitude of The Attorney I spoke to was So Encouraging, Kind and Understanding gave me consolidation and Hope, because I wasn't Brushed Off, wasn't given negativity and a Partner with The Name of The Firm is off today, but will call me tomorrow. I feel relieved, no promises, except the calling me back tomorrow is worth a Lot!

I want to share my experience with Makris Law Firm Houston Disability Lawyer over 2 years. First I want to Thank Victor Makris for putting professionals in place to work my disability claim case and I was approved. I was denied twice than I had a hearing via phone with a administrative Judge so I was able to vividly explained to the judge why I needed disability. The process was truly draining after my brain surgery 2 years ago I really needed help with filling out the forms and I told my case manager Belinda via email. I was never able to get in touch with her doing the 2 years but until the very end and she made herself available plus she contacting more. Mostly I spoke with other staff members about my case they were helpful. I was disappointed that Victor Makris personally did not represent me doing the hearing but a lawyer that works for his firm- I did not know him and spoke to once before my hearing. Again in closing I am happy I was approved for my claim. My quality of life was forever changed and now finally received help. I recommend this Law Firm but overall they need to do better in the waiting process with communication and being more helpful with the client. I hope this help with making a decision to go with Makris Law Firm They are taken good care of me and I am thankful.

It took almost 2 years with one Appeal for my Disability Claim to be approved. Throughout the process, Lisa, and then Anna, made me feel like my case was important and I knew I was being taken care of. When I called to let them know my claim had been denied, I found out they were already working on my appeal - now how cool is that? Don't deal with this attorney if you are trying to get on SSI or SSDI. You can literally do it yourself all you do is fill out the unbelievably long application (its made long so you'll give up, dont give up its easy. Leave blank what you don't understand. They make it seem complicated as possible but it really isn't) . Make sure to have it sent out within ten days, it is time-sensitive (this is one way they prevent even more people from getting checks). This firm does absolutely nothing they even send you the application themselves and have you fill it out JUST like you normally would without them. All this lawyer does is have your 3rd court date (you will likely be denied twice THEN win the 3rd time around. Again, they do it like this to prevent more people from getting checks. Most people give up by now but don't, you will eventually win) pushed back for 3 years (because they can only legally take 25% of your backpay but the longer it's pushed back the more money goes into the lawyer's pocket. Meanwhile you're having to stay in group homes or in psych wards or on the streets, you think they care? (they don't. They're likely laughing while reading this in fact). Its sickening, and they get to go home every day believing they've done nothing wrong. But just wait until Judgement Day guys. Don't think it's real? We'll see. Without these guys, the entire process typically takes ten months AND you get to keep all your backpay. These guys literally do nothing but make a few calls to each client and show up to the 3rd hearing to collect their 25% of your money (and believe me if the law allowed tuem to take 50% they most certainly would). If you ever needed proof of how corrupt this country is, here's some right here. If it wasn't for that these types of people would never be able to get away with such dishonest things. And once again I'd like to thank our government for all of the fine work they have done for everyone over the years lol.
