Graduated from Southwestern University School of Law in 1980, entering the California State Bar that same year.
Became a certified specialist in immigration and nationality law with the California State Bar in 1993. Opened solo practice from 1980 to 1986, in general civil litigation with contracts, business clients and varied fields.
Accepted partnership position with Manulkin, Glaser & Bennett from 1986 through June 1, 2013, anchoring corporate and organizational clientele solely for immigration matters including MCI Systemhouse, Amgen, Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Doosan Hydro, Blizzard Entertainment, Inc., Activision Publishing, Inc, Beats Electronics LLC and others.
With the dissolution of that partnership, the firm continues to represent a blue chip list of organizations and business on a global scale, while retaining the same team of experienced attorneys, professionals and staff that provided this service before June of 2013.
Interesting clients and cases from the past include Shimizu v. Department of State, Pranas Brazinskas v. INS, Landon v. Plasencia (respondent’s brief). Present interest include salt water fishing, boating, and following my daughter Karly’s adventures around the world.
