Please be cautious of this law firm. Several warning signs should not be ignored. Mr. Brown, in particular, was highly problematic. He attempted to have me undergo anger management without my knowledge as part of a deal he made with the prosecutor. Neither he nor the law firm returned my calls, and he failed to appear in court when required. He lacked communication skills and legal knowledge. He seemed more interested in cutting deals with prosecutors than defending clients' rights. I eventually had to hire another lawyer who could highlight the inconsistencies in the false charges against me, resulting in the dismissal of the case.

But unfortunately we all know that isn't the case with most lawyers out here except for one attorney in particular called Mr. Douglas Mitchel from the Law Office of Montell Figgins located 17 Academy St. #305 Newark, NJ 07102. He's well-organized, articulated, dedicated, and focused on all his legal matters despite time consuming, but with patience... he's the one who gets the job DONE! I was wrongfully accused and charged two conspiracies with each one carrying up to 4yrs if found guilty. Upon returning from West Africa on July 6th of 2024, I was apprehended by the US customs officer at JFK on the same legal matter from Bergen, County NJ causing issuance of a bench warrant to be executed anywhere in the US soil. Due to extradition protocols, I ended up spending 33days in Rikers Island until August 8th, 2024 extradited to Bergen County Jail only to be released the next day August 9th. Where would I begin my next journey on a matter I absolutely had nothing and I mean nothing to do with. Never been charged of any crime in my life and no misdemeanor but now facing 2 felony counts is absurd.
