I primarily practice in injury law – which includes personal injury and workers compensation. Many people ask me what is the difference: personal injury includes basically almost all claims persons may have for injuries to their bodies. These are claims such as slip and falls, physician negligence/medical malpractice, battery, dog bites, defective products and construction mistakes/negligence and almost all other types of claims which give rise to personal injuries. Of course the most common are injuries involving automobile accidents. In my career, I have also found myself involved in other injury/damage claims such as asbestos, aviation litigation (plane crashes), class actions, and nursing home injury claims – among other types of cases. And, some of the most common injuries include injuries to the back, neck, and spine, but of course any injury to any part of the body can be disabling and debilitating - but can also be compensable if there is fault on the part of another.
