About Law Offices of Gillian A. Woodward, PC

A native of suburban Philadelphia, Attorney Woodward moved to the York Community shortly after graduating from Dickinson Law School in 2007. Gillian moved to York to clerk for a Common Pleas judge prior to working for the District Attorney’s Office for several years. While serving there, she won a case of first impression regarding the involuntary commitment of sex offenders. This required extensive research and review related to the intersection of the law and psychiatric diagnosis. After several years at the District Attorney’s Office, she went into private practice. As a sole practitioner since 2012 she knows that dedication is key to serving clients’ needs. Attorney Woodward focuses her practice on legal issues affecting families. Whether that is traditional family law issues, or buying or selling property, or drafting Estate planning documents – Attorney Woodward is prepared to assist with an resolve legal issues affecting families.
