I recently had a consultation with Eri to help me prepare for my upcoming interview with the immigration office. Initially, I contacted her to inquire if she could attend the interview with me. She responded that I would need to come in for a legal consultation, which would cost $200. She mentioned that this amount would be deducted from the overall fee if I decided to hire her for the interview. When I asked how much she would charge to attend the interview, she quoted $1,000. I agreed and went to meet her. However, after explaining my case, she told me she couldn’t do anything for me, even if she attended the interview for $1,000. Later, she mentioned she could review my documents and possibly assist me during the interview, but this would cost an additional $3,000. The whole experience was a waste of my time and money. She charged me $200 for a 10-minute consultation that provided no real value. If she had been upfront and clear in her emails from the beginning, I wouldn’t have wasted my time meeting her in the first place.
