David is Awesome, he really cares about you as a person and the cases he takes on. From the very start David wanted to get to know me as a person which I liked very much. He's really good at analyzing, diagnosing your case before he prescribes a legal strategy to take. He really researches and studies from top to bottom your situation. Another thing I like about David is his follow up. He really returns your calls, and emails promptly which meant a lot to me. I never felt alone while working with David. Thank you, David.

I am so grateful I found David to represent me. From the very beginning of my case, David demonstrated a unique combination of professionalism, dedication and compassion. He conducted an extremely thorough research endeavor into the particulars of my case and coached me through my initial and intimidating interview. Most exceptionally, David’s negotiating skills are unparalleled and he had to work with three different OPD attorneys as my case dragged on for almost five years! In the end, I had a favorable outcome and I owe everything to David. He is an exceptional attorney and I can’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you David.

David Rich operates as a one-man show, using WeWork spaces in the city and Jersey. Be cautious when hiring him. While he might be helpful in a few areas, he is ineffective at negotiating in your best interest and is not up to date with labor case law. You will likely end up losing with him, yet he will treat it as a win. His attitude can be summed up as: "Oh, you only had to pay X when you were expecting to receive Y... It could have been much worse!" Many bad lawyers fail due to arrogance—they don’t listen to their clients, assuming they know best rather than understanding the specifics of the case. This approach may work with low-skill clients, but when dealing with executives who know their industry, it becomes a disaster. David often assumes he knows more than you about your own industry, despite being clueless. Nothing is more dangerous than this combination. Avoid hiring him on retainer, as he inflates bills and charges for anything he can. For example: "I had to reschedule a meeting, .2 hours added!" After 20 years of working with various lawyers, I have never encountered one who refused to adjust fees when confronted about overbilling—until now.
