Agreed with Ashley below. I’ve actually spoke with Russell twice now, both times were consultations and he really does give sound and practical advice. This man is doing the Lord’s work by writing his articles and sharing his wealth of knowledge. I’m currently in Court going through proceedings and have someone else representing me, but any time I have ANY questions I want to ask my current attorney I first think to find an article that Russell may have wrote to save me the trouble and also to educate myself on said topic so I can be a better advocate for my kiddo/myself to my attorney AND for my attorney to better advocate for us in Court using the law.

Never actually have been represented by this firm. I have been involved in two family court cases. Each time I was Pro Se litigant and other party had hired Attorneys. My cases were not easy, not comfortable and didn't come to an agreement so trial was the end result. Both times I was successful and for lack of a better term took home the Win. (this is not a recommendation to go Pro Se, I would encourage professional repensentation if/whenever possible) I am leaving this review because throughout the multiple years between the two different cases and the amount of work research and study and I have had to do into statutes and case laws this men's website, these articles with such detail and personality have truly been my secret weapon. Not only for facts, references and knowledge but for hope and motivation that as long as I stick to the law and am accurate with my actions that the law was/is on my side. Many firms bait you in and give only enough info to always assure you that you need an attorney. Every article i have read ( almost all) from this site has from start to finish been educating and specific. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and offering consultation without the need to remind us that we need an attorney that many just cannot afford. I never did the consultation. I didn't want to waste their valuable time for something I couldn't afford. However, you have still helped me more then you would ever know! For that you are appreciated.

Divorce isn't easy, for anyone. However, if one is in the situation, I highly recommend Russell Knight. Russell and his team was world class and top shelf. In my case I was the respondent to a divorce I didn't want, but nonetheless, Russell's team walked me through the process and was a fierce but kind advocate for me. I could write a short novel about the experience, but I'll spare you the time. With that said, the firm walked me through all the details, reviewed all documents in detail and listened to me; and that was key, they listened. There's an old saying, "Nobody likes a lawyer, until you need one". Well? If and when you need counsel, Russell and his team, as I mentioned above, are highly qualified. If and I hope people never experiences a divorce but, if you do, I strongly recommend having a consultation with Russell. I assure your rights, your case will be handled well.

I was represented by Russell and his team in my divorce process in cook county. Russell has extensive experience and was available whenever I needed him to discuss my case with effective representation. I’m pleased with how my divorce case was handled in my best interest. I would highly recommend Russell D. Knight to anyone going through with divorce.

This divorce took over five years and two counties were involved. I wish for myself and for my children’s best interest that I had found the law office of Russell D Knight to represent me when I first filed for divorce. After three years of being fleeced and working with a firm that did not have my children’s best interest as their main focus, I had to look elsewhere and thankfully found attorney Rebecca Day. There were many times I wanted to throw in the towel because the false accusations and my treatment by the court in regards to my children was unbearable. I have no criminal record and have my children in my life. She advised me not to give up on my kids and that I may have lost some battles, these could be corrected and that I would be with my children at the end. She was right. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and was always at the courthouse early to brief me.
