This review is long overdue, it’s been a year now since my husband was granted his green card and our process was a little longer than it should’ve been (NOTHING on attorney halls end just some complications on my husbands end that she got us through!) and I mention this because she never stopped working with us, she stayed on top of things and handled our case with greatness. Her professionalism and knowledge is at a magnitude I can’t even put into words! I am very grateful for her and of course Cesar, they are both a God send. Thank you to you both! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend attorney Natalie Hall and Cesar for any legal needs.

I am well pleased and satisfied with the service provided. I felt secure and well informed about my process and progress of my case. I must said that I delighted to know how thorough and precise things done and put in place each step of the way. Lawyer will request item in advance into order to have the correct items and that they can be submitted on a timely based. I felt comforted by the fact that when I was ready for my green card interview, everything thing I needed to take with me and review where provided and labeled so it was easy to access and review. I had mock interview to assess my readiness and positive feedback was given. Even after the interview I was guided what I should expect and what to look out for, example to may sure my name is correctly spelt on the document. When I landed in the US I got a call shortly after congratulating us on the successful reunion, and making sure that the necessary documents are in place and what to expect going forward. Lawyer Natalie even called in person to find out how I was doing, my adjustment to the new environment and society and what was next. I am so happy and grateful that I had her handing my case. Thank you once again for you diligence in doing your work, you made me feel like I was the only thing that mattered.

I am so grateful for the service that I received, and I highly recommend them. 5 stars aren't enough for my rating!!

Working with Natalie and her office for our marriage immigration case was successful and we achieved our goal. They were very detailed, organized, responsive, honest and very meticulous which were the secret to our success because nowadays immigration processes are more difficult than before. Also, we would like to mention that Cesar (Natalie’s assistant) was very nice, professional, and helpful throughout the case. We are very happy to have worked with them and we highly recommend their services.

AAL general personal injury Frequently Asked Questions

What is personal injury law?

Personal injury law encompasses legal remedies and defenses involved in civil lawsuits brought as a result of wrongful conduct. It covers situations where someone's negligence or intentional actions cause harm to another person. Personal injury law allows injured individuals to seek compensation for their losses, including medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering. This area of law often involves cases such as car accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, and defective product injuries.

What is compensation for a personal injury claim?

Compensation for a personal injury claim typically includes monetary damages intended to compensate the injured party for their losses. This compensation can cover various aspects such as medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, lost wages or income, property damage, and pain and suffering. The goal is to provide financial relief to the injured person and help them recover from the physical, emotional, and financial impact of their injuries.

Is emotional distress a personal injury?

Emotional distress can be considered a personal injury under certain circumstances. In legal terms, emotional distress refers to the psychological impact of an injury or traumatic event, such as anxiety, depression, or post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). While it may not always involve physical harm, emotional distress can still be compensable in a personal injury claim if it can be linked to the defendant's actions or negligence.

What percentage do most personal injury lawyers take?

Most personal injury lawyers work on a contingency fee basis, which means they only get paid if they successfully recover compensation for their clients. Typically, personal injury lawyers take a percentage of the final settlement or court award as their fee. The percentage varies but commonly ranges from 33% to 40% of the total recovery. This arrangement allows injured individuals to pursue legal action without upfront costs and ensures that attorneys are motivated to achieve favorable outcomes for their clients.

How long does a personal injury lawsuit take?

The duration of a personal injury lawsuit can vary significantly depending on various factors, including the complexity of the case, the extent of the injuries, and the court's schedule. Some cases may be resolved through settlement negotiations relatively quickly, while others may take months or even years to reach a resolution, especially if they go to trial. Additionally, factors such as gathering evidence, conducting discovery, and waiting for medical treatment to conclude can influence the timeline of a personal injury lawsuit.

What is an example of a serious injury claim?

An example of a serious injury claim could involve catastrophic injuries that result in long-term or permanent disabilities, such as traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries leading to paralysis, severe burns, or limb amputations. These types of injuries often have significant and lasting effects on the victim's physical, emotional, and financial well-being, requiring extensive medical treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing care. Serious injury claims typically seek substantial compensation to cover these extensive damages and provide for the victim's future needs.

What is compensation for a loss or injury?

Compensation for a loss or injury refers to the financial recovery awarded to an injured party in a legal proceeding. This compensation aims to restore the injured person to the position they were in before the injury occurred to the extent possible. It can include economic damages, such as medical expenses and lost wages, as well as non-economic damages for pain and suffering, emotional distress, and loss of enjoyment of life. The goal of compensation is to help the injured individual recover physically, emotionally, and financially from the consequences of their injury.

What is the highest personal injury settlement?

The highest personal injury settlement or verdict can vary greatly depending on the specific circumstances of the case, including the severity of the injuries, the extent of the damages, and the jurisdiction where the case is tried. Settlements and verdicts in personal injury cases have reached into the tens or even hundreds of millions of dollars in some instances, particularly in cases involving catastrophic injuries, medical malpractice, or wrongful death. However, there is no fixed limit on the amount of compensation that can be awarded in a personal injury case, as each case is evaluated based on its unique factors and the applicable laws and precedents.
