BAR COMPLAINT COMING Do not waste your money or time with this law firm. We paid them over $10,000 and were made promises that were never kept and now the attorney that represented my husband- John Perez is no longer working for that firm and the firm is now refusing to finish up what the previous attorney promised. We are in the process of filing a bar complaint so if anyone wants to join, please let us know and we will be more than happy to show you how to complete and follow the bar complaint process. I spoke to Jesse Hernandez directly on July 26, 2024, and he was rude, nasty and attempted to push me around like a bully. He failed to understand that I’ve been in the legal field even before he was born and am well aware of how the rules work for attorneys. I left numerous messages with different people at his office over a two week span and he never returned my call. It wasn’t until I threatened a bar complaint that I received a call back from him. Needless to say my call with him was pointless and fruitless as he would not admit his firms fault even after I provided proof of text messages between my husband and his previous employee. I was also appalled at the treatment I received from his supposed paralegal who was rude and nasty as well and who had the audacity to tell me that I needed to treat him with respect-what a joke . If you value your money, your time and your sanity, do not go to this law firm. Try a law firm like Norton and Lahood instead. These people should be ashamed of themselves they believe they’re above the law and don’t need to follow the rules. But they’re not. WASTE OF MONEY!!! Hired this firm in September & paid $1500 for an upcoming court hearing I had in October because the attorney really sold me and said that she could have my charges dropped since I had the lowest misdemeanor. Odalys was late to my court hearing, everything she did I could’ve did myself. I ended up getting a plea deal even though she was very adamant that she could get my charges dropped. She didn’t even negotiate for me at court, it’s like she would talk to the prosecutors and come back to give me a plea deal w/ so many things the court was ordering without her even negotiating on my behalf when it was the LOWEST MISDEMEANOR. I had just lost my job and she didn’t think to ask the judge if we could waive the $100 court fees so I asked myself and it was granted. Stuff that I could’ve just did on my own. I called last Friday to advise that I am completed with my sessions that the court ordered me to complete as well as the $100 donation to a non-profit that way they can submit it to the court since that’s what I hired them for but was told she was not in the office. Never received a call back so I called today and was told she is no longer with the company… so nobody decided to contact me and let me know my case was reassigned ? Ended up calling the Municipal Court myself to submit my own documents. AGAIN, things I could’ve just handled on my own. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY
