Michelle didn’t even show up to my mediation. Her paralegal, Karleigh, couldn’t even get a simple form signed to have possession of my daughter after her recital- which costed hundreds of dollars for. Kurt on staff was creepy, rude, yelled at me… as unprofessional as they come- never have I ever had such an overall negative experience in my life. This staff doesn’t care about your family- just charging every cent they possibly can for minimal work.. I can go and on.. child custody agreement doesn’t reflect all I had asked for and won during mediation. Do NOT go with this awful “team”.

Honestly, the negative reviews for the Lanfear team surprise me. We just finished a complex case for my family & Michelle & her team managed my case with ease & clarity. I think most people don’t understand what’s happening at Family Court, so different clients think they’ll get dramatic NCIS outcomes from a judge! I only dropped a star because any legal fees in general are high on my budget. But I really felt that the Associates had a strategy & presented options at each turn. I paid for the intelligent approach on my case. They minimized my fees with the steps they took and we got a fair outcome that left me with a sense of closure in the case.

Very unprofessional! Michelle seems tough, but in reality she’s just abrasive, even to her own clients. Overpriced for the minimal work they do. I should’ve listened to the reviews in Google. Find a lawyer who actually works for you, not like Michelle, who makes you give in to the opposing counsel. You’ll have to be your own lawyer just to be able to have a conversation with her. Kurt has to keep her in check, she has no people skills. Don’t be fooled, Kurt seems like he’s on your side, but he’s just as shady as she is. Worst $4,500 I’ve ever spent! I could’ve reached the same results if I went pro se.

THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ARE ACCURATE! Overpriced for the minimal work they do. They will wait until 10 minutes before your court hearing to get any information from you. Almost impossible to get ahold of anyone in the office. Michelle’s bark is bigger than her bite. She talks a big game and will tell you that she can beat the opposing lawyer but really just gives in. Save yourself the money and go with another attorney who will actually fight for you and not just collect a paycheck.
