Mr. Rands took my case and we talked about what happened the night in question. He told me to sit tight and that he and his staff will work with me to resolve my case. His tone of voice and how he spoke to me and the way he asked questions made me feel at ease. He quickly asked about video footage and requested the audio and video footage. When he got the audio and video footage and reviewed it, he then called for us to review it together and told me one of the main reasons for my problems which were deemed REFUSAL by the cops was not right because at no point did I use the word refusal or refused anything they (the cops) told me to do and that gave me some hope. To make a whole story short, my case came to a close I was not charged with a DUI, which was good. So I told Johnathon Rands what had happened in detail before we agreed to anything and we talked about a plan that sounded like exactly what someone would want to hear that would be pretty much getting my license back in a matter of 2-3 months. Once he received his first payment and got the discovery of evidence. he stopped doing any of the steps we agreed on. He kept saying he would meet in person to discuss the plan and when I called to schedule a meet they would say that he was gonna call me to talk on the phone in later that day and that never happened… instead I get a very short email without any word of our email. I wouldn’t hear from them at all but when I called they would gladly take my payments but Rands was always “too busy”. He took my money and did practically nothing about getting my license back or handle any court dates instead he used some stupid loop hole to “terminate service” and keep the cash I had already paid which was already thousand(s) and refused my request to refund only half. Also when my friend found out I had the same lawyer as him he said Rands always works whatever lousy deal the prosecutor offers without working to get you a proper representation.

My nephew got into an accident in July, and was given a DUI. The next day I was a wreck, and started emailing any attorney that came up. 5 to 10 emails later, one person got back to me. It was Jonathan. He said give me a few details, and I'll call you. 20 minutes later he was on the phone letting me know everything that had already happened, and everything that was about to happen. He laid out a game plan, and let us know exactly what we needed to do. Most of the time when there is an accident involved, the charge will get escalated into a worse charge. He also has relationships with the other companies that provide services that you'll need to take care of to satisfy the requirements the courts will ask you to complete. All of these things simply add up to getting favorable outcomes once you're in front of the judge. With his advice, my nephew was able to take care of everything that the court was requiring before sentencing was even complete. And that is very important to show the judge that you're taking this very seriously. Some attorneys may tell you that it is a waste of time to even try and defend your license against the DOL, but not Jonathan. He recommended for us to request a hearing, and at that hearing he successfully defended my nephews license and had the license suspension dismissed. That alone will save us thousands of dollars worth of fees for interlock, and license reinstatement. I can't recommend Jonathan highly enough for the services he offers. If you need a great lawyer to go to work for you, this should be your first call. You may have already made one mistake getting yourself into this situation, don't make a second one by not hiring the best. P.s. He has a couple of other great people (Carrie and Kristine) working in his office and they provided their own expertise whenever something came up. From top to bottom, this is a great company to be involved with.
