Worst lawyer experience of our lives. He will take your money and get pointless revenue and always agree with the other party and never represent his own clients purposely. This is the worst lawyer I’ve ever had any contact with through speeding tickets, family, law, or simple Dispute with neighbors through litigation. He will take weeks to respond back and also think he’s smarter than you so there’s no point in arguing your case. Horrible culture, cander and transparency.

Hired Mr. Bodle back in 2016. I told him from the first appointment that my case was a serious concern and I needed papers filed ASAP. Over a month later he had not filed anything. Basic communication was also a struggle. I sent a certified letter saying his services would no longer be needed as I was going to hire another attorney who would handle may case promptly. He then emailed saying he would give only half of my deposit back, unless I would come speak to him in person. I was absolutely floored that he would hold my money, after doing NOTHING on my case, simply because I would not give him an opportunity to convince me he was worth another chance. If you need an attorney in Douglas County, do yourself a favor and avoid John Bodle. Adam Hall is who I hired and he was AMAZING!

I hired John after my original lawyer was forced to retire after medical issues. When I approached John with a stack of papers going back 3 years I warned him it'd be an ugly battle. Of course with his outgoing personality, he was looking forward to entering "the game" as he put it. I put John up against a small town lawyer in front of a small town Judge who of course favoured eachother. The main battle lasted over a year. Even with John fighting a no win battle, he stood his ground. I am pleased with the overall outcome. I still today use his services when needed and I recommend him to anyone I talk to. He's a 1 man show (not set up with a big firm) and his office is connected to his house. Makes you feel comfortable and more one on one.

This man was retained as my lawyer about 13 years ago when I used him for my divorce. He did not show up to court and I was left sitting there by myself until the judge that noticed his absence, made another court date. I always wanted to say something about the situation to others that might use his services but had no options until Google Reviews. I hope what ever unprofessional behavior that went on then has been changed.
