With 10 years of experience as a former prosecutor, he understands the tactics used to get a conviction and applies that knowledge to build a strong defense for you. Whether you are charged with DWI, drug possession, assault, or something else, we work tirelessly to provide you with targeted legal services and advice. Every citizen deserves their day in court. Oct 3rd, 2024. I made the mistake of not reading all the bad reviews before signing a $12,000 contract for 3 charges. He didn't answer the phone or respond back (for days) 75-90% of the time, plus no staff answering HIS phone for him when he was "in court", so genuinely good luck setting an appointment after you sign a contract. I was told he would fight for me if I chose to go to trial, but he didn't provide specifics on a defense. He failed to obtain all of the available/ potential evidence I asked him to collect during discovery which I feel is crucial for trial. When the county changed my indictment, raised my bond, put a (secretive) sealed warrant out, and raised the charge from 3rd degree to 2nd degree... I asked him what was going on and why I had a warrant when I followed all bond conditions: I was told it was "the same charge" which is less than accurate. I was also told I had no court dates yet, when in fact my next court date had been re-set for less than 90 days away because he didn't appear in court for me on my first court date. He knew of the first court date the day I signed the contract 3 months prior. I fired him about 1 month after I signed the contract, then re-hired him when he finally called me back a few days later. 2 months after this he claims his name wasn't on the docket of the first court date because he 'quit working on the case when I fired him'. I would not have re-hired him if I knew he would pull such a lame excuse for waiting so long to add his name to the docket. Weeks prior I was told 'don't worry about that court date' and if I had taken his word for it then and trusted that he would add himself to the docket before the deadline, than I would've missed the first court date by trusting him to appear for me when his name wasn't on the docket the day before the court date; it wasn't until my mom called him from out of state and had a word with him, did he send the paperwork (this was the day before the court date around 4:00pm). Then he claims he made the docket deadline before the court date, yet he didn't appear in court to represent me on said court date when I was re-arrested and unable to appear myself? Make it make sense... Ironically if I hadn't been re-arrested the day before the court date and I had taken my lawyers word to 'not worry about that court date' the judge would not have re-set said court date or the county would've revoked my bond for failure to appear which would've been worse. I feel I gave him $5,000 out of $7,100 for little to no legal advice, or peace of mind. I almost wish I'd hired my MOM to represent me instead! Like how is it that my own mom found out what was going on with a sealed warrant before he did? Why did it take my mom to inform Mr. Hill I had been re-arrested for 'the same charge' shouldn't it be the other way around?? Why did he only chose to send in the docket/ court paperwork stating he would represent me after my mom called him? I wanted to like this lawyer and I really tried to maintain a good relationship, but the subliminal signs of a lack of passion in representing me was obvious at times. So I fired him, re-hired him and fired him again after months of numerous red flags in my opinion. I was told he was 'doing me a favor by giving me back $2,000' of the $7,100 i'd paid. He did subpoena a Tuberculosis record from county jail, and he did take the time to listen to me past dark at times but at $400/hr it felt more like an expensive therapy session than legal advice. Call me a disgruntled client if you want but this is my honest experience. I was a fool to put 100% faith in Jeff Hill the second day I met him. Please don't make the same mistakes as me when it comes to choosing someone to rep you for trial.

Best of the Best If you want an honest lawyer I highly recommend Mr.Hill unfortunately I’ve had to used quite a few lawyers & Jeff was upfront Always informed me, never kept me guessing. Or in the dark, worked fast. Never did I feel he would be bought out with the system We all make mistakes and he taught me what laws were broken and what rights I had. He is Fair, He is Just. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ever become a Judge Thank you Mr.Hill I feel you were placed by God to get my family back to a Great Spot

Communication is foreign to this law firm. My brother has been in jail for months now with little to no evidence because he didn’t do what he’s accused of , and me and my mom cannot get ahold of this guy or his law firm. They will not fight for you and give you grocery store examples of why you’re not entitled to speedy trials or bond reductions . I would give zero stars if i could do not shop for an attorney here
