Do NOT hire Robert Ickes. He is the WORST. Did basically nothing for almost 2 years. Drew out my case by doing nothing, never updated me, never sent me important documents, barely ever got statements, lied to me about the divorce settlement proposal so he could drag the case out longer and make more money. Basically stole 20k from me, and didn’t help me at all. He literally did nothing. Then he threatened to send me to collections or take put a lean against real property if I didn’t pay. DO NOT RETAIN HIM. He is a con man. I came to his office to add up financial documents FOR HIM, but then he said he didn’t want to do it, and then charged me for the two hour visit where all we did was talk and he did nothing to help my case. HORRIBLE ATTOURNEY.

This guy does not have a clue, I spent 5,000 dollars with him and then fired him because he did nothing, filed the wrong paper work, doesn't communicate, never sends you an update so you know where you stand on your case or how much you owe. A Month after I fired him he sends me another bill for over 2 thousand, For what. he is a crook and I hope this helps others to find a better Lawyer and not have to go through what I did.

What can you say about an attorney who will not call you back? I sent an email and also used the firm's "Contact Us" section of the website. Never heard anything back. So I called. Robert Ickes picked up and told me "if we don't call you back, we're not interested in your case." An email would have been nice.

Sonia Ickes is a terrible attorney in my experience. She never kept me informed nor was her treatment of my case professional. In fact, I was told having her poor representation influenced my case negatively. Too hurried to care about clients. Look at how her office is run. There are good attorneys. I found one after Ms. Ickes. I warn unsuspecting potential or current clients.
