I don't typically write reviews but I will for Hendershot PC if it will help someone in the future. I am a small business owner and doctor in Houston. I requested and received services due to a fine received from an insurance company. The work done for me from this firm contained incorrect interpretation of a vision law which is resulted in me having to pay the full fine. I requested a payment plan from Hendershot after receiving a bill of close to 30K that needed to be paid one month after receiving it. I'm not sure which small business owners out there have cash like that on hand. My request was ignored and I was written an unprofessional email from the lawyer demanding I pay the amount owed. Keep in mind I was already making payments towards it and had no intention of not paying it. I am a small business owner and was just asking for some help with some type of payment plan which was ignored. They also lost follow up business for me as I requested to complete the case and close it Their intention was to keep my on retainer as long as they could and it will be obvious to you that this is what they care about. Don't believe their videos where they wax poetic about caring about their clients, they fit the stereotype you hear about lawyers in movies and shows before you actually need one. They care that you will pony up the money as soon as they need it and bully you

If they are your attorney, they won’t communicate well or answer questions that you have in a timely manner. They are not invested in working for their clients. They more so practice negligence in filing motions that are appropriate to a case. They were happy to charge me $20,000 and drop me before my case even got to trial. They could’ve easily filed for sanctions and won in order to keep representing me, but they neglected to even tell me that was an option. If you’re looking for an attorney that cares about you and will fight for you, I don’t recommend this firm. I wish I would’ve found these other similar reviews to my experience before I called them. 😒

I enjoyed my visit with Trey Hendershot. I complete appreciate the time and effort that was given during my consultation with Trey for my business. From the moment I spoke to Laura, who got me scheduled ASAP, to Trey during and after our initial consult, I have been extremely pleased with my experience. I felt heard, educated, and I genuinely felt like they cared. Trey took the time to respond to my email for some follow up clarification questions a few days after our visit, and has given such insight on what I can do with my business.
