My name is Michael Lovely. I am currently a client. I got approved for disability. I had been notifying the law firm almost weekly that my situation at home was declining rapidly. All I ever got in response was a speech about the “process”. I then lost my home. I also lost most of my belongings. Certain things that can never be replaced. I called them time and time again. It’s always the same response. They’re sorry for my hardship but there’s nothing they can do. I called disability. I let them know. The agent agreed that my situation was dire emergency. He has attempted to speed up my process. My back pay is sitting in the pay center. I’m homeless and the windchill temp is 15 below zero. I acquired a hotel but funds won’t be in my account at checkout to pay. Then I’ll be in trouble. But I had no choice. This way I could be with my babies just a bit longer. The stress has almost placed me in hospital care. My doctor tried forcing me to be admitted last week because my blood pressure was so high. Both numbers were triple digits. I’ve spoken with several local lawyers. They’ve all said that if the firm wanted to have compassion, they could have advanced me some money to help my situation. Could have done something to fight for me. The darkness of the place I have ended up emotionally is beyond words. My children deserve better than this. I don’t care if people treat me as if my life means nothing. I’m use to that. But they knew I have kids and I’ve made it clear that my kids are all that matter to me in this world. I’ve never seen anyone be able to dismiss something so horrible so easily.

They have gone down hill! They were amazing back when Hankey ran the office! Since it's been taken over it is not worth your time! They never sent paperwork out for me to take to my Drs etc. They did nothing to strengthen their or my case! I fired Hankey and hired Lewis Disability! They sent me paperwork to take to Drs and therapists right off the bat. I even requested additional information to have filled out after I saw how serious they took my case! I was denied several times when I met/meet and exceed the requirements for mental health. I do not feel like Hankey Marks and Crider fought for me or even tried! I also never spoke with the case manager. It was always a representative. Please do not waste your time with this law firm because they will not adequately represent you and your case! HIRE LEWIS DISABILITY! My case was drug out for so long due to people not doing their job. So my case went to court. Douglass Lewis helped prepare me for court, his office was easy to get a hold of anytime I had questions and they fought for me! Even after I won they are still answering my questions.
