Update 5/13/23: Judy why did you lie to Boone County DCS? I obtained the report and you made many provable false statements and outright lies. Are you a police officer or DCS investigator? I presume so since you took it upon yourself to “investigate” matters when you should have reported and left it for the professionals to actually investigate and have records of reported incidents. What happens when you beg Judy Hester for help because the other parent will not follow court orders? She will file a court recommendation against you full of half truths and outright lies. What happens when you try to determine why Judy Hester isn’t returning phone calls and emails for an excessive periods of time? She takes will take offense to someone asking her to do her job. She will retaliate by not responding, then will scold you for removing her from the coparent communication app after she has ignored you for a couple more months. Judy Hester dishonest. The only consistency I’ve seen in Judy is inconsistency. Recently I discovered that Judy participated in a scheduled home visit by DCS of my ex, not as a witness, as an advocate for him. She did not witness the alleged incident. She has no relevant factual information of the incident. In fact, Judy was no longer under contract to be our PC. That didn’t stop her from throwing her perceived power around. Another time when she was no longer under contract, Judy demanded I change the list of people allowed to pick up my daughter at school by adding an individual that has allegations of inappropriate actions to minors. Instead of handling situations as legally obligated (such as report an incident to DCS), instead she would task herself at investigating the situation, something DFS cautions not to do… that DFS should conduct investigations and have records. I cannot fathom being paid $200/hr by families needing help, only to perform on the level of a part-time employee that is is not invested in her job. I initially​ ​brought​ ​my complaints​ ​of Judy directly​ ​to​ ​Judy for​ ​resolution, as she stated was her procedure in her contract.​ She ignored me, once again. After months of reaching out to her for help, then finally inform her that there were serious issues I would bring to the Indiana Bar Association, her resolution was to continue to ignore me and file court recommendations against me that were based upon false accusations. She even admitted in court they were not true. After she discussed another client with me in detail about how awful the father is, she bragged about how she had his parenting time greatly reduced. Then she scolded me for recording our conversation. It was easy to determine who she was speaking of based on all the details she divulged to me. That client has been informed and they to the recording of Judy telling me their medical history, supposed bad parenting acts, and what the judge said about that client (which differed slightly from Judy’s assessment. When I questioned her about her billing practices after I received charges for her other clients, I was informed I was to obtain legal representation if I wanted to change my bill. It took over a year to get one of those charges removed. After I posted negative reviews about Judy’s performance as PC, I received more bills from Judy…. the bills were sent the day after I posted the reviews. Thank god the court removed her from our case. I’m truly saddened that she is abusing her power as a PC and for all the other families harmed by that woman. Please note that two of the positive reviews on here are from my ex and his wife. I also recognize the names of their coworkers and friends that posted positive reviews. If she was so wonderful, why is my ex wanting to change her court recommendations now. Maybe he finally realized Judy doesn’t know what is best and will only file court recommendations that have very expensive actions associated. My guess is so the parents won’t be able to afford the constant legal battle and will eventually shut up to keep costs down.

She was my husbands parenting coordinator over the past year and was a godsend. She worked tirelessly to understand the dynamic of the family, speak to all parties involved and help to navigate what seemed to be an impossible situation. We were able to get several things resolved despite the other parties determination to add challenges. I cannot thank Judy enough for her hard work and energy during our time with her.
