Attorney García began his career in the legal field after 4 years of active duty in the US Navy. His first experience in the area of law was as a Court Interpreter. He worked bridging the communication gap in the Los Angeles and Orange County Courts and Federal Immigration Court. As a Court Interpreter, Mr. Garcia recognized how a conscientious lawyer can truly make a difference in a person’s life and he began to working towards a law degree. He obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa and began to practice law in 2002. As an attorney he has worked in the area of immigration law, criminal defense, employment law, personal injury and worker’s compensation. At the present time he is limiting his practice to Personal Injury and Worker’s Compensation cases. In his 15+ years of practice Mr. Garcia has settled thousands of cases related to auto accidents, pedestrian injury, bicycle accidents, dog bites, slip and fall injuries, product liability, and work-related injuries. Mr. Garcia emphasizes that he takes pleasure in insuring that his client’s that his clients get properly compensated for the injuries they suffer. He describes his work as a “constant battle” due to the common practice of insurance companies to low-ball claims to protect their bottom line. In his free time, Edgardo enjoys riding his vintage Kawasaki KZ650 and working with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for low-income families.
