About Gannam, Gnann & Steinmetz

Gannam, Gnann & Steinmetz formed in 2006, but its history of serving the community can be traced back to 1982 with the formation of Gannam & Gnann, LLP. In March of 2021, the partners invited Audrey Lofgren to join the firm as an associate. After practicing law for 20 years with other Savannah firms, general practitioner, Michael J. Gannam, decided to open his own law office. In 1977, Mike hired J. Hamrick (Rick) Gnann, Jr., shortly after his graduation from law school; and a few years later, Mike and Rick formed Gannam & Gnann, LLP. Seven years later, Mike’s son, Joseph Martin Gannam, became an associate with the firm. After Mike passed away in 2003, Rick and Joe continued practicing law together until 2006, when Savannah attorney Christian J. Steinmetz III accepted an invitation to join the law firm.
