Called about a criminal case which was eventually dropped & turned civil talked with ryan & his partner sam on the phone about getting my funds back sam wanted more than 1/3 of the money & was probably the worst attorney i ever talked to eventually got sick of his horrible attitude & arrogance & talked to ryan who charged me $300 for a 5 minute phone consultation i then got all of the info he asked me to get tried calling in & getting a call back for over 2 months now haven’t heard a word back very shady business practices would recommend going to any other attorney

My experience with Attorney Ryan Friedman was horrifying. I am filing a Complaint about him with the Ethics Committee of the State Bar. He was a nightmare. He charged me $20,000.00 then created massive amounts of deductions from the retainer for things he never did. He did NOTHING for me, NOTHING. I am innocent and have tons of hard evidence proving that I am innocent. Ryan was hired to submit my evidence to the DA and make pre-trial motions to have my charges dismissed. Instead, , behind my back, he accepted an offer of diversion that the DA had already previously offered and rejected. He did this without my knowledge or my consent. Then he became angry and abusive, threatened me, tried to force me to sign the Diversion agreement because it was illegal for him to accept Diversion without my knowledge or consent. When I would not sign the Diversion he made a Motion to be relieved as my Attorney stating that I did not pay him, that I refused to sign the Diversion, that I had stopped communicating with him and there were no funds in the retainer, making it appear to me my fault that he was withdrawing from my case. But on top of that Ryan Friedman went to court and asked the Judge for an "off the record " conversation. Which is illegal and unethical. Whatever he told that Judge must have been horrible because the Judge then issued Warrants for my arrest and mandated that I be in court in one week, though I was having back surgery for three serious fractures that very day and had submitted an abundant amount of letters from my doctors and every other kind of documentation proving I was having surgery that day. My experience with Ryan Friedman was horrifying. I pray the Ethics Committee of the State Bar pulls his license to practice law so no other vulnerable person in need of legal representation will be hurt by him. Huge Thumbs down on this man as a lawyer and as a person.

First off want to start by saying Ryan is an excellent attorney, which is the purpose of seeking such a person. Professional, dedicated, straight to the point. In all reality Ryan P. Friedman & the Friedman law firm saved my life. The feeling of being involved with the law is no laughing matter. Before consulting with Ryan, I was not sure of his interest, due to the fact my case was being held in Los Angeles county.
