Jennifer Fink of Fink Family Law did a good job managing my divorce up to the first settlement conference where opposing counsel walked out after Jennifer offered to settle 52% in my wife's favor (settlement conference officer said it was clear cut 50/50 divorce). About 4 months after the 1st failed settlement conference I received phone call from Jennifer Fink stating Jessica Socienski would be taking lead on my divorce matters due to her full trial schedule. Jessica Socienski did a great job jumping in where Jennifer Fink left off - in a stalemate with opposing counsel. Jessica as well did a great job considering my wife’s viciousness throughout the divorce by verbally securing settlement at second settlement conference; I agreed and promptly signed opposing counsel’s 53% PSA, this is when things went off the rails. Opposing counsel received the PSA I signed then completely vanished for more than 9 months all the while I was paying exorbitant marital support, premium healthcare benefits for my wife and two college student sons moreover every day household expenses. The opposing counsel calculated delay pushed me deep into debt not counting current and prior legal fees incurred. Months of pleading with Jessica and Jennifer to devise counter offensive to opposing counsel’s delay tactic went unanswered I had no other choice but to seek new counsel who quickly formulated strategy to breakthrough the devistating stalemate. In the end I calculated the caught flat footed non-response from Fink Family Law to opposing counsel’s walk away strategy after I signed their PSA cost me at least $175K. If you find yourself facing an amicable ‘boiler plate’ type divorce Fink Family Law is probably adequate for your divorce needs. Anything other than a standard amicable divorce, I highly suggest securing a firm with aggressive tactical experience, an up front legal strategy and a like kind skill set.
