My daughter used her for her custody lawyer and she was awful. Never responded and quit on her 3 days before trial. My daughters court case lasted a year in a half withMelissa with no progresse. She never listened to my daughter and her needs. Spent a lot of money on her for nothing. My daughter had to attend court with no counsel. Do not use her!

Read entirely: This woman doesn't deserve a single star. Family courts in Columbia, MO approved my husband to legally adopt my oldest child. The court appointed Guardian Ad Litem [GAL] during our adoption case found him as a fit father and praised him for stepping up and being a great role model. With adoption comes a whole list of things including: background check, home study, meetings with family members, a look into finances, and more. My oldest son was legally adopted December 5, 2019 by my husband. - The problem is, the same courts in Columbia, MO under a different judge, Judge Miller, allowed parental alienation to interfere in my husband's parenting time to his own children OVER & OVER without consequence for years. Despite that, in 2016 my husband had been awarded 50/50 of his oldest children and the [different] GAL found my husband as a fit and capable father, also. BUT with obsessive alienators (the other party) they never stop harassment of the targeted parent (my husband). Judge Miller was A-OKAY allowing it to continue with no consequence which resulted in additional false allegations against us. The other party's lawyer, Melissa Faurot, is as unethical as can be. There is a special place in H E L L for unethical family law attorneys who are so greedy they will use the silver bullet method for their clients. There was a phony RO put against us in 2019 and the [newest] GAL Cassandra Rogers gave zero [expletive] to dig deeper into the history of parental alienation and custodial interference against us. Instead, she kept insisting that we obtain a lawyer which would mean more money in her pocketbook. This led to us throwing in the towel after 10 years of financial burden, narcissistic abuse, emotional gaslighting, and unfair and greedy courts. Family court PTSD is a REAL thing! February 2020 was our last court date on this matter, where my husband gave full control to the other party, as if they didn't already have it, due to unfair courts. Guess who has suffered? Every single one of my children have suffered because of this woman. 6 kid's lives have been traumatized because of her and a court that went rogue. Horrible experience and you will waste your money! Unprofessional and does not do her job. If you want someone to represent you the right way do not go to her. Last minute withdrawal and very unprofessional. Would not recommend to anyone.
