I met Robert in early February 2024, when I hired him to represent me while I faced misdemeanor charges in a Michigan case. I found his contact information via internet search. He promptly replied to my email inquiry to say that he would be happy to represent me. His fee was modest and included all services prior to trial. The case involved several pretrial hearings over four months. He completely and competently answered all of my questions. He listened actively to my account of the inciting incident. His understanding and trust in me was apparent throughout my work with him. He advocated on my behalf in conversations with the prosecuting attorney. Robert believed that the charge should be reduced from a criminal misdemeanor to a civil infraction (like a speeding ticket). Despite my worries and fears that the charge would not be reduced, Robert reassured me that it likely would, and, in the end, the charge indeed was reduced to a civil infraction. I am exceptionally pleased with this outcome. We resolved the case without a trial. I will pay a $130 fine and lose two points on my driving record, but this is a negligible concern in light of the charge that I faced initially. I have very limited experience in working with other attorneys, so I can't really compare him to others. However, I can say that Robert was professional, competent, and kind. His work met and exceeded my expectations. His regular reassurances to me provided great comfort in what could have been a nerve-wracking four-month experience. I highly recommend him.
