Thus far, this team of human beings has been a strong support for me during one of the most emotionally, mental, verbal and physical abusive/assault situation of my entire life. Their guidance and access to immediate behavioral health care, pt and ot care have demonstrated that humanism still exists in our society. Connecting dots for me has minimized my repetition for recanting and reliving emotional, mental, verbal and physical abuse/assault through retell over and over. Each time more specific details, situations and evidences of the emotional, mental, verbal and physical pain endured from abuse/assault. CPS offers a mental health provider but they were not able to address my immediate need for supports - November 14th - I need intentional immediate care now. My job insurance was able to complete a evaluation but also had a 4-6 week waitlist. This is how we lose lives, systems that don't work. It hurts...!
