When I hired Angela as my attorney, I paid all the costs up front and expected her to represent me with the best of her abilities. However, soon after my case started moving it became impossible to get ahold of her. She was always out of the office and would never respond to emails or texts.. when I was able to finally met her in the office a day before my court hearing, she had completely changed her strategy than what she had said originally. What made matters worse is when she represented me at my first court appearance, which was telephonic, she kept stuttering and tripping over her words, and the judge had to ask her multiple times to repeat herself. It was more thamn embarrassing. Angela has a new bar number and several bar complaints from previous clients. Over 6month later am still trying to get a refund for the money I paid her, as she only made one telephonic court appearance and filed a continuance motion, while still keeping my $10,000.
