I feel the firm is competent and caring. They represented my best interests honestly. If you are reading reviews of lawyers, you likely need one. Please understand that most cases will take longer than you anticipate. You likely need a long-term partner, as court cases are not always quick. Denver Family Lawyers was a good partnership for me. I have reason to believe that they would be a great partner for you also. ALSO FYI good lawyers are not cheap. That is a general truth.

The worst decision I made was hiring this firm. They over bill and under deliver. I should have trusted all of the other 1 star reviews. I’m honestly considering filing a complaint with Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel for their questionable billing practices. Double billed, billed for work not done on my case, and billed for work not even related to my case. They don’t care about their clients just money. They filed a lien on my case on New Year’s Day for a bill 30 days past due with no warning. Their receptionist obviously uses ChatGPT or templates on emails and forgets to fill in the blanks. Their paralegal over bills (.3 for an email which should have been .1). My attorney failed to question me on important details at hearing which negatively impacted my case. They lack serious attention to detail (spelling my name wrong, forgetting to redact private information, and typos in pleadings). You pay them a lot of money, so there’s no reason for these mistakes. Stay away from this firm.

Watch you bill! Mine went fron 2k+ to 8k+ overnight. The when my ex filed a baseless EPO they decided to jump ship. Yes, I still owe them and I do have a payment plan, so they will get their money. However, having been a CJA IN the 4th Judicial District, I thought that I picked a good law firm, I am not able to recommend this law firm.

Welcome to the worst family law firm in Colorado maybe the country, they over bill we caught them multiple times over charging hours, they under deliver, lack attention to details pay attention to the 1 star reviews here and on yelp, they do no research on your case and they will lose 99% of the time then they will bill you in your most trying times and file a lien to get paid for being terrible representation… avoid at all costs their horrible
