I highly recommend you do not use this Attorney. He will Not fight for you or even give you what you need to fight. He will get you signed during his initial consultation phone call with lies. He will even tell you that he will get the other side to pay your legal fees, but then do absolutely nothing. I used him for a divorce. I received no direction, never a call back or email addressing my concerns or answering my questions . When he did call you after numerous emails and calls, he expected you to have documentation he never instructed you to obtain. He would cut you off on any questions talking over you. Disrespectful. I basically did everything myself. He showed up at mediation with no knowledge of my case , and only at that time , would he review documentation. He charged me to go to Court but then told me “I wasn’t a good witness”. I did not get that money back . Absolutely terrible experience on top of a terrible experience. I was only asking for 50% and he didn’t even get me that. Don’t waste your money on this one. Divorce settlements will determine your future. A competent lawyer is what you need. David DeFoore is not it. Fight hard and don’t use this one. I wish I had dropped him and found another.

Mr David Had 0 communication whatsoever from the day I retained all the way until the court date I never spoke with the man. Come court day he didn’t even know who he was looking for he had no image of me to know what I looked like, Luckily I knew what he looked liked to approach. Come court date after months of waiting, David had to drop me as a client finding out he had consulted with the other party over the same case. I don’t think he ever personally looked at the case to miss such a simple mistake. Or it was simply an expensive obvious mistake in all. If you are in a rush to make things happen just to waste time this is not the place to invest your money!! However he did give me my full refund

Took my money and didn’t do nothing for me and they never answer the phone or keep in touch. Paid him 10k to take a last minute divorce case and he was just like the other 3 lawyers that didn’t help me at all. Needs to be a new law that lawyers don’t get paid until service are rendered and I bet they will do their job and I bet will keep in touch at all times.
