I hired Mr. Crutchfield and his team to help with my legal issues. First meet I was forgotten about in the lobby. Second meet in the middle of discussion, another client of his came in and he cut my conversation short to deal with him and rescheduled with me again. I hired him anyway thinking and believing he cared about my situation as much as I did. Boy was I wrong. I had an emergency situation come up as the father of my child refused to return our son. I asked Mr. Crutchfield to file a contempt and hearing. First I got an email stating I needed to pay $2700 after paying $4000. Then because I didn't respond to the email was told I was not respecting his firms administration for payment. I explained my situation multiple times, let him know about my bankruptcy and that money is hard for me to come by, but will do what I can. I would send texts and emails, no response from emails. Texting was the only way I got a response during and after hours. Every conversation was met with other things not related to me or my situation which would waste my time and then having to be rushed through paperwork. Then paperwork would be filed before even having a chance to go through it and then having to redo and amend which cost more money. Texts would be screened shot that I had sent to him to someone else, idk who. As I received it by mistake. I was told to be patient at one point. I was told things would get done and then they wouldn't get done at all. I asked to just get the contempt and hearing so I could get my son and my time back with him, only to be met with I'll do it Friday, then Monday after a week almost two weeks of patiently waiting. Only to come in to the office personally asking with all the forms and evidence I needed. Then was told he was going to amend the contempt and refile it and waste more time and money. I asked for my forms back, said they don't take me getting my son back as important as I do and asked why I paid them to do a job they aren't doing and left. I was already upset from not seeing my son. That showed me they don't care about my feelings or anything. Sent a text only to have a reply of being called disrespectful and that he would file for the hearing and we need to rethink things. Obviously he did not file for the hearing and instead filed to remove himself as my attorney. Now he doesn't respond or return any texts, calls or emails. I still have not gotten my son back. It was more of the take your money, charge you unnecessary fees and then leave you out to dry. All I asked was for him to get my son back. I would not hire him or recommend him to anyone. He was recommended to me by someone who said that he was a good attorney, but clearly only when it's beneficial for him. Do not waste your time or money. I don't think he will even give me my money back either so I can hire an attorney that actually cares and will do their job. Very unsatisfied and I know with him doing as he did it gave the narcissistic father of my child ammo to use at towards me as he still has an attorney. He started off with five stars and went to one, but should be zero. As I am now back to doing it all on my own. Attorneys are supposed to make things less stressful for you. Not more stressful and still make you feel as if you are still alone and having to do things alone.
