Siren chasers. I received an unsolicited mail from this group notifying me of an infraction in their county. They are offering to help for almost as much as the fine itself. Most importantly, I received 6 of these bulk letters from different groups AT THE SAME TIME. My wife now thinks I robbed a bank. Thanks! I would not have rather told her about my ticket, but I had to explain why all these law groups are contacting me, like I'm a bad man. True, it's public data at the courthouse, and anyone can send a letter, but, do you want to be represented by a group that sends letters out en-masse, hoping people take the bait to call a lawyer? I'll happily pay my ticket, I earned it, and the cop did his job. What I don't like is this type of targeted junk mail making my wife upset, that's not cool. I'm just glad my granny didnt get a stack of letters like this, she would have croaked. Instead of helping to fix the injustice that is the Hwy 421 speed limits, these lawyers are sitting back, making good money from these letters.
