This firm works with ambulance chasers to get their leads. That’s how I found out about them, was by a call when I was in the hospital. I did the homework, and this a violation of Illinois attorney ethics. I had a lawyer friend tell me, “Because they are personal injury attorneys in Chicago, the rules are not enforced against them, and this is an open secret.” My accident was in the City of Chicago, by the way. This firm was one of 30 calls to me after the accident. They also pushed me to their doctors, and discouraged me to use my own. I had one person there tell me, if I ever get questioned in a legal capacity, You tell them ‘I don’t know.’ When asked ‘How did you find out about your doctor?’” But I do know how I found out about the doctors - Costa Ivone pushed me to them. And I don’t want to lie, especially in an official, legal capacity. Maybe they referred me to better medical treatment. It could have been. Or not. In retrospect, I feel like I’m playing a game, and bordering on shady behavior. I was courted by Anthony during our initial phone call. After that, I was mostly dealing with managers or no one at all. Then I got to speak with my attorney towards the end. My attorney was not Anthony either. In short, I have to face God someday. Someone should ask if this firm do brake the rules/laws by the following three items: 1. Calling people right after an accident to get hurt and emotionally fragile souls like me to sign them up with their firm. 2. Direct me to see some doctors I haven’t ever seen before, instead of pushing me to see my own doctor who has known me for decades. 3. Then treat me seeing their “recommended” doctors as it is shameful, and something worth lying about if I get under oath during pre-litigation. And duh, I’m using a fake name - because I don’t want these people to find out who I am. I should have called an attorney I knew and asked her if she knew any Personal Injury attorneys.
