Charles E. Douglas has practiced law in Oklahoma for over 46 years. He is a 1975 graduate of the Oklahoma City University School of Law after receiving his undergraduate degree in 1972 from the University of Central Oklahoma. At OCU he was a member of Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. Thirteen years of service with the District 21 District Attorney’s office resulted in over one hundred jury trials and countless non-jury trials and hearings. Charles was co-recipient of the 1994 Outstanding Assistant District Attorney award from the District Attorney’s Council. He entered private practice in 1995 with a practice limited to criminal cases. During the 25-plus years since then Charles has defended clients charged with felony matters ranging from Murder, First Degree and Shooting With Intent to Kill, to Embezzlement and Domestic Abuse.
