I contacted Nick for advice with an immigration issue (on Friday afternoon before the Christmas holiday!), and he was incredibly polite and helpful! He was able to give me some basic advice right off the bat, advising me that we could do an emergency consult within an hour if I wanted. But, he also said there wasn't much more I could get out of a consult than he could tell me in a few minutes over the phone, so he didn't feel right bringing me in and charging me! Exactly the opposite of the conventional view of lawyers that charge an arm and a leg for a basic consult. He's honest and empathetic, and you can tell he really cares. I will definitely be talking to Nick again if I need further help.
