One of most regrettable experiences in our lives was contacting this law firm. The female attorney "Janine" that we were connected with regarding possible bankruptcy options not only made us feel completely judged and embarrassed but the information she provided was completely contradictory to what Avery law had on their website. She said she "researched" our names online before our appointment (at the end of our appointment) although we were COMPLETELY honest with her throughout that initial visit. We felt like she had already made up her opinion to our situation even before we had our appointment. This was one of the hardest appointments that we've ever had to make and this "attorney" made us feel so embarrassed to be in the situation that we were in. Zero compassion and we actually felt a lot of hostility from her. On top of that, she said she would send us information which she never did and when we contacted her assistant for follow up, we received very a very kurt reply that she had sent us all the information already although we never received one piece of mail. Thank goodness, we found another avenue to pursue. We would never ever refer anyone to this business for bankruptcy help based on our experience. Completely unprofessional and judgmental in our opinion.
