With my deepest appreciation to Ashley, the core of my support and custody cases, Ashley was amazing. I was a victim of domestic violence. I had so much fear I would be judged, i was treared with so much support and understanding. yes the EX and his new wife, tried to convince Ms Donovan how horrible I am as s person. She stood up for me. And prevented the children from being brought into a big cycle of more abuse. My boys are grown up now and living very healthy lives. I would hands down recommend Ashley to represent any friend or family member if needed fir family law. AshleyS philosophy on defending one time offenses, me understand her views and appreciate her more, even thou that wasnt my situation. I'll never forget what Ashley has done for my family. Forever grateful!

Ashley, the paralegal, and her secretary were professional throughout the whole process that I went through. Ashley was patient, kind, empathetic, and a business woman when needed. She is a great listener and has done a wonderful job with everything. She has a lot of spirit and she has a great way with words and great presentation. If I ever do need her again, I’m hiring her again for sure. She has worked with me through every detail from payments to documents to scheduling phone calls. Thank you to Ashley and her team for all the hard work and effort you have put in. I was blessed to have you all.

My experience with Ashley Donovan Law. I am giving 2 stars over 1 star, just because ultimately my divorce did go through, though 1 star is more aligned with my experience. I paid my retainer fee and was under the impression that since my divorce proceedings were going to be as a cut and dry (after the initial consultation), with both parties agreeing (with no minor children) about each of us taking on our own debts, own personal property (we had no real estate) and keep our own 401k/pensions. This is as easy as a case an attorney could receive. My wife was on record (with this law firm) saying she will sign the decree, agrees with all the terms, she was not going to fight. Now, here come the problems… slow to answer, slow to return emails, at one point I thought they had taken my retainer and just swept me under the rug and forgotten. I was emailed sensitive case documents of different case that was not mine (so if you are hoping to have your sensitive case documents not shared with non-authorized individuals, you might want to reconsider Ashley Donovan Law), that lack of ensuring that the right documents are sent to the right people was quite concerning, if it was just a matter of a misstep... well, I prefer attorneys who have an eye of attention to details. Once we had the consent decree all ready-to-go, my wife was told that she could come down to the Ashley Donovan Law office to sign in with their notary and my assigned attorney told me and my wife that the office would call once the notary was available (later that same week as this happened on a Monday). Well low and behold, my attorney forgot to either call or tell others in the law office (I prefer attorneys who are not forgetful, so unless you like that, choose wisely). So, then I contacted my wife directly (not a big deal we are still friends) to just go get the decree notarized on your own and mail it to me directly (I live out of State). Then my attorney got angry with me for doing that and charged me for calling me about that. Both wife and I were trying to get this divorce finalized but Donovan Law apparently likes to drag things out (a common nickel and dime trick). All we wanted was to get the documents signed and sent into the courts. So, we went around waiting for the notary to be available at the office of Donovan Law. Want to talk about nickel and dime'ing you? If you like that, you’ll love Ashley Donovan Law. I give many examples but on the most flagrant examples is: I asked my assigned attorney if they had heard anything from the courts about the Judge signing the decree? Well, what did this attorney do? Could they have just answered with the knowledge of ‘No’. Nope, they decided to contact the court, which I did not ask them to reach out to the court, and then charged me a fee for doing something I did not request. Another nickel and dime charging me for edits on the documentation they drafted wrong! Why should I have to pay for someone else who mistyped a name? Remember, there was nothing for my attorney to negotiate with my wife (wife also did not retain her own attorney, so no need to negotiate with another law firm either), no trial, no court/judge appearances. In May, my original had used up 60% of the funds. In early July, we submitted the consent decree… now it is early August, and the divorce went through and signed by the Judge. Now get this… now I owe Donovan Ashley money up and over the amount in the retainer which when all we were doing was waiting for the judge to sign the decree. 40% of the remaining appears to have been nickel and dime'd away from the invoices I received but I own a balance. While my case should have been on the easiest possible divorce cases for a law firm to handle, apparently if it is too easy, they need to extract as much money out of you as possible. Now imagine, if your case does need months of negotiating, trials, etc. How much more will this firm extract from you if they can’t even handle and process one of the most cut and dry divorces possible.

Ashley is amazing lawyer, very talented. I got her in last minute before trial. She spoke less, but when she did, the other party was left speechless. I got what I wanted. She is also very honest and try not to bill you for unnecessary things. Choosing Ashley as my legal representative was one of the best decision I made in my life.

This is my first time having Ashley represent me, she helped me SO much! She was really concise with reading and identifying factors in my case. She has a very professional demeanor and was responsive to my emails and questions. I feel she took enough time and helped me with preparedness for trial. I haven’t received my final orders yet, and I’m writing this already because I’m satisfied. With Ashley I felt defended, properly represented and it gave me confidence I needed. Ashley is very intelligent and each one of her staff members are pleasant, she exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend her. If I ever needed representation again, she would be my first phone call! I’m glad I found her!
