On December 10th, 2023, my wife and I were involved in a serious car accident. A 19-year-old driver failed to stop at a sign and collided with our vehicle. I was driving, and our vehicle was totaled. Tragically, my wife was pregnant, and she suffered a miscarriage a few days after the accident. This was an incredibly difficult time for us. Communication was poor, and our case manager mistakenly believed we were involved in a three-way collision, leading to incorrect information about potential financial resources. My back continues to cause significant pain, and I frequently experience severe anxiety while driving. This entire experience has been stressful and heartbreaking. In the end, I received less than $1,000 in compensation for all of this.
