I have been through the tiresome process of court many times and based on my experiences with and without legal counsel when you are facing criminal charges or something that is a little more serious than a traffic ticket it is always best to obtain legal council as soon as possible. Never look for the cheapest attorneys because here’s what you can expect: attorneys, who don’t answer the phone when you call them looking for an update on your case, attorneys, who do not update you on your case throughout the process, attorneys who show up late to your court dates and make you look like a fool, or attorneys that call you with the first plea deal at the state offers you and tell you that it’s the best deal you’re gonna get After charging you an arm and a leg for a retainer fee and promising you that they would fight for you tooth and nail. Well, with Adams and Luka this is not the case for sure when I hired Adams and Luca to take my case, they were very quick to respond with the upmost respect and care that you can provide a customer with, furthermore, they were able to achieve more results in the first day of consultation with them then my previous attorney was able to do in six months, in addition, they were very communicative throughout the process and kept me updated on everything that was going on with my case, I met with my lawyer two weeks after they took my case to discuss the progress and review the case. After about an hour and a half of reviewing the content and discussing the case, the end result was leaving the office, very confident and happy with the choice I made in legal council. This whole law firm is outstanding!!! Make sure you do your legwork, though. The more evidence that support your side will make their lives easier; they will make the best arguments for your case. Jennifer Benton took over my case 6 months in. I sent her all the details of the case and she got up to speed quickly and dove in. I had unrealistic expectations with regards to the case. Jennifer called me out and reset my expectations to a more realistic level. After that, I was more attentive to what I needed to be doing as a client. Side notes: 1- I feel that a large number of unhappy clients are either, bad at being a client or have unrealistic expectations, or both. 2 - If attorneys are not paid, they will not do work for you. Any bad review that includes a client not paying the attorney is worthless and pointless. Any attorney is only as good as the information they have.
