Narrows Dam is a well-known hunting spot in Arkansas. Turkeys are also abundant. There have been a few sightings in the area of black bears. Daisy State Park is a popular tourist spot on the northern shores of Lake Greeson's 7,000-acre lake, six miles west of Kirby. You can catch bluegill, stripers, and crappie in the Daisy area.
Three rivers run through the county. Little Missouri flows through the Ouachita Mountains and enters the county's northwest corner. It descends 1,035 feet as it travels south before reaching Lake Greeson, above Daisy. These waters are ideal for experienced canoeists. The Caddo River is a great river for paddling and floating. It originates in the Ouachita Mountains and has good rapids that allow you to travel all the way to Glenwood. The Antoine River rises northeast of the county and flows southeast past the town of Antoine. It runs eastward along the county's eastern boundary before it reaches the Little Missouri River. These rivers offer excellent fishing opportunities with plenty of bluegills, catfish, and crappie.
