I called their office to ask about payments I need to make to them, while I was on the phone with one of their receptionist she made a comment about the case being dropped against my late husband because “we can’t sue a dead guy” My husband was murdered 3 weeks ago. This was one of the most insensitive comments that I have ever gotten during this extremely hard time. And when I reached out to one of the lawyers in the office, I was told “Sorry IF YOU FELT the comment was insensitive.” It’s not what I feel, IT IS insensitive. This is one of the worst experiences I e ever had with any firm but also one I will most definitely remember unfortunately.

Jeff handled one of my reckless driving charges years ago. He was incredibly cocky claiming that he knew all the judges and prosecutors and it would be an easy case. He showed me his wall of "thank you" letters then said give me $1000. He overcharged me as an ignorant young adult. I had no communication till maybe a week before the court date and jeff said he knew the prosecutor and we could make a deal if i do 20 hours of community service. In that short time i take off work, I do the service hours, and the court date arrives, no Jeff oppleman. His paralegal shows up and said "I'm sorry Jeff's wife had an emergency I'm your council". I waited in court for an hour plus till my name was called and the paralegal that had no idea what she was doing said "his lawyer isn't here". The judge, the prosecutor and the officer were beyond pissed and said you should have told us that an hour ago. I came back to the continuation, months later, different prosecutor, she wanted to throw the book at me. I spent a weekend in jail and i have a convicted misdemeanor for 1 over reckless. I heard all the other lawyers laughing that I had hired jeff. He is a joke in the henrico court room DO NOT HIRE HIM
