Shawn is a down-to-earth lawyer, though at times it may seem like he's not fully engaged. It seems to be just an overactive mind. While our pre-suit mediation didn’t reach a resolution, I don’t believe that was due to his efforts. He is intelligent and isn’t afraid to consult with colleagues on areas outside of his expertise, which I respect, even if it occasionally made me wish for quicker answers. He never makes you feel inadequate and provides insights you might have overlooked, though his devil's advocate approach can sometimes feel a bit challenging. However, I do believe he could benefit from having more staff to assist him, which would allow him to reach his full potential.

I had contacted Shawn for a free consultation in regards of my home closing. He got back to me on the same day and jumped on a call with my title company to let them know that I had the choice to not include my husband on the home title. I was very impressed with his knowledge and the way he handled the conversation. Next day, the title company apologized and said that my lawyer and I were correct and that they made a mistake.
