Follow up 8/1/24: I had to call in May as no one had called me back. They said they had sent a letter in December but had not heard back. After that, things started moving. I felt like if I didn’t call them, nothing got done…then they want to charge a 35% fee. They just do the minimum amount of work for maximum pay. They don’t follow up with anything unless you call them. I had a claim that took over a year and said they were calling me every month, which was not true. In December there was a check, but not for the full amount. They said they would be in touch…fast forward to June when I had to call them. They said they sent a letter but needed to follow up with the company. That should have been done a long time ago. I’ve only talked to the attorney 1-2 times and even when I got an email saying an attorney would call, they never called. I understand a business is busy, but how are you supposed to build a rapport with clients so they trust you? It’s just been a very unprofessional experience.
