She's completely heartless and ONLY cares about the $$$. I recommend staying far away from this law firm. Very unprofessional and incompetent. Cindy will drag out the case as long as possible for financial gain. I took out $3500 from my families savings to retain her services and it was a complete waste of time and money. My mother-in-law did all of the legal research through her own legal company to help alleviate some of the costs and yet she billed us for all of our work that we provided to Cindy. And I quote "a simple, cut and dry case" which would have had money leftover in the retainer to help adopt my daughter turned into a nightmare of back and forth emails and phone calls at $35 each email/minute of the phone call. She gave my wife unnecessary stress during her pregnancy and did not listen to anything we advised her in regards to the case. She likes to nod her head to agree with what you are saying but doesn't actually listen. After spending nearly $5000 in legal fees with Cindy, we did not have any more money to refill her DEMAND in additional funds to retain her. We asked to put the case on hold for six months while we tried to save up money to continue and Cindy refused. She immediately sent an email stating that she was withdrawing herself from the case, could not finance us and "has bills to pay." She blocked us from sending her any more emails. We repeatedly asked Cindy for a status update via email and phone calls and is now unable to be reached. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, save yourself the time, money and energy and find someone else who actually cares about their clients and their case. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!! scam artist. In addition, Cindy was recommended from a colleague of my mother-in-law. Imagine how Cindy will treat her client without a referral from a family member or friend...
