Just like everyone else, I am not a fan of lawyers. However, in our society, they are necessary and it’s important to have/know a lawyer who is trustworthy. That being said, I am more than a fan of Christian Amendt, a lawyer, and the people in his office. Chris has handled 3 cases for me and I would never see another lawyer except for him. First, my cases are not easy because of my health. My medical record, if printed, would be about five feet high. No doctor can keep it all straight, but Chris, incredibly, read through my medical record and understood it all, and it is in his brain. This is not normal for a lawyer to have so much medical knowledge that he can basically walk me through who what why and how of each of my procedures and limitations. I am astounded at his medical ability. It has been such a relief to not have to explain the same thing over and over again and to know that Chris understands the deep impact that each of the cases had on me medically. He is also fantastic at negotiation and bringing the dollars with settlements. He just settled a case for me and I could not believe the dollars he was able to deliver to me. Amendt law firm is a family run business and they are people of integrity. Chris is amazing, as stated previously, and so is his wife Tina who runs the office. When you call the office, someone answers the phone and they know you as a client and they know your case. If you need Chris and he is not available, he calls you back when he is available. They do not leave you hanging like some other law firms. Also, being people of integrity, the law office will never make more than you do on a case. I repeat, the law office will never make more than you do on a case. This is not normal in today’s predatory legal environment. I know people who have received large settlements and the lawyer walks away with 40-50% of total settlement while the client pays all the medical bills from their 50-60% and then are left with less money than either the doctor or the lawyer. This is not how Amendt Law works. They negotiate your medical bills down and ensure that your portion of the settlement is larger than their portion of the settlement! Who does this now a days, seriously? Chris and his team do. So, please please PLEASE do yourself a favor…before calling one of those billboard or commercial lawyers who are always responsive AT FIRST, call and meet with Chris. I promise, you will not regret it.

This firm did not get the job done for me, he had my case for almost an entire year then for no reason he dropped me. The communication was extremely poor. I immediately hired a local lawyer and within 2.5 months I had a settlement with the insurance company that granted the maximum on the policy. My new lawyer was very professional and followed through on everything he promised. What a difference.
