By the grace of god, I found Andrew Stein, of Stein & Markus Law. From the first conversation, Andrew explained his decades of defense experience as well as Joe Markus decades of D/A Prosecution Experience which made the duo “a force to be reckoned with”! I was very impressed! He was such a friendly and approachable man. Andrew was very well educated in the SB 1437 bill. He and Joe Markus were patient and very straight forward which I appreciated. After careful review & deliberation of my husband Billy Juarez 2002 Case, Stein & Markus Agreed to Represent my Husband for the 2019 SB 1437 case in Riverside County. They were aggressive, and stead fast during court filings. They kept me informed about each step of the process. After 19 years of incarceration, Stein & Markus WON the resentencing filing allowing my husband to come home! They have given my husband Billy a beautiful second chance at life.
