I hired Raji right before a public defender was about to screw my case up. I had criminal case and was looking at potentially being locked up for 25yrs. I headed off to my local Walmart. As I shop filling my cart with new curtains, sheets, pillows, blankets, I decided to go all in and also picked up new mattress and bed frame. When my cart was chuck full I headed to check out. After a few moments I was approached by a worker who said I could head to the self check out as I scanned and bagged my things the scanner beeped at me and presented a error message which would require a worker to remedy. A few moments later a worker came over scanned her card looked in my bag and said I was good to continue. I finished up scanning and fed my $782 into the machine. I head to the exit and stop to show the worker my receipt proof I had paid He says “ wow, that’s a lot”he hands my receipt back to me I go to walk out when I was abruptly and rudely stopped with the cart being shoved into my stomach with a smug face employee loudly saying I was to follow her to the security office to return what I had stolen… I was in utter shock,the end of my shopping experience resulted in an appearance ticket the following month for petit larceny. Terrified and convinced I was going to end up in jail I frantically began searching for representation hoping to avoid going to jail! How could this be happening.. I didn’t steal anything. I came across an attorney Paul D’melia esq.I explained to Paul my situation to which he says we should be able to get it reduced and my fee is $6000 or more if it goes to trial. I got my first court appearance and gets adjourned, and then it adjourned again due to Covid. A few months later I was unable to make it to my court appearance, due to lack of transportation, and called the court to notify them when the clerk said you have an attorney, you need to contact him and go through him, so I call Paul left him a voicemail notifying him of my situation so that he may get in touch with the court and ask for an adjournment or speak on my behalf and then emailed him the same making sure to cover all my bases. Taking for granted, my attorney had taken care of his duty to represent me. I thought no further until I was driving one night and I’m now getting pulled over officer runs my license and as he’s coming back to the car I’m thinking to myself see I told you now. Let me be on my way, no no he in fact came back to my car and said miss did you know you have an outstanding warrant??? In total bewilderment I said how when where that can’t be… The next four or five hours I sat in a holding cell, awaiting the judges decision to either let me go home and go back the following court date, or if he was going to choose to remand me to the jail. Thankfully, he gave me another chance, When I got home that morning, the new search began to find an attorney that had my best interest and the interest of my children at hand. Which is when I came across the rave reviews of Raj.Zeidan. I reached out to his office much to my surprise. After only two rings, his secretary, said give me one minute Raj got on the phone I explained my situation choked up, barely able to speak. He said I’m good at what I do. We will get this taken care of. I explained what it happened with my previous attorney and how he did anything but represent me. I actually received another charge due to his negligence. Not only did Raj deliver and we came out with a victory. He charged half to clean up the mess the other attorney had made. It was a breath of fresh air to finally find someone who valued my life and well-being as much as I did! While working with Raj I had the pleasure of seeing the level of quality he provides each and every client. He did what the other attorney failed to do, to show the judge. I’m not a criminal, but a mom who volunteers at school, attends PTA meetings volunteers in the community, and a student herself. He advocated for me, and was the voice that was heard.
