Jeffery Jacobson is going to ask you for upfront retainer with a promise of a deal. Later he’ll ask you even more to develop EPK and other promo material. Be very careful, in today’s online music and marketing age- you don’t need anyone like him to part away from your hard earned cash. He did it to me and refused to proceed unless I pay him more. When I told him I will develop the EPK myself- he asked for a monthly retainer until he scouts a deal for me. He’s very kind until you pay him upfront. Once that’s done- it’s continuous pouring of resources until you realize his scheme.
