After 30 years of running my own small independant physician practice , I was personally worth over northwards of just over a million Dollars. My wife (who I would personally NOT have lent money to) used her personal credit Credit and credit cards (thankfully, without my name on them) to borrow over $100k to start and run her own small retail business. COVID put her out of business and left her owing over $100K in credit card debt and SBA loans. I wisely had kept her name OFF my bank accounts and wisely kept my name off her business.
