0 STARS ACROSS THE BOARD! I was referred to Shook & Stone, however after I signed with them to start the process of my case, it immediately went down from there! My first initial case manager was very good at communicating, even if she didn’t have any progress for the week, she still sent me a text and let me know. But after she insisted that I contact the drunk driver’s insurance of who rear ended me to ask about my car, I immediately seen my initial red flag because if I hired representation why would I talk to the opposing party? What was the point of hiring Shook and Stone? So, I requested a new case manager after I expressed my concerns to JJ, the managing attorney for my case, and he immediately assigned Suzy to my case and that was the BIGGEST DOWNFALL FOR THE REMAINDER OF MY CASE!  For the past 5 months Suzy has done nothing but LIE and exercise unprofessionalism! For starters Suzy TOLD ME SEVERAL TIMES NOT TO PAY MY CAR NOTE BECAUSE THE CAR IS TOTALED AND IT’S NO LONGER IN MY POSSESSION. Since I just recently got my license and was a first-time car owner, I decided to listen to her advice because she was “experienced” in PI and handled my case, so why wouldn’t I take her advice! The creditor that was financing my car continued to call me and ask me to submit a payment. I informed them that I was advised by my case manager not to make a payment and that my case was in PI and no longer in my possession. When I called Susy and notified her that I continued to get calls regarding making a payment, she told me DO NOT worry about it and DO NOT make a payment for a car that is not in your possession! Fast forward to January, I went to a car dealership  and I was denied because my credit score DROPPED BY MORE THAN 100 POINTS DUE TO NOT MAKING A CAR PAYMENT (Like Suzy told me not to do and said my credit would be fine. WHICH WAS A LIE.) AND NOW I CANNOT GET A NEW CAR WHICH HAS CAUSED HARDSHIP ON ME AND MY FAMILY! Suzy still has done nothing to resolve this issue, presented any possible resolutions, nor apologized, because she DOESN’T CARE. Suzy stated that she will “fix” it but done NOTHING IN THE PAST 5 MONTHS since she confidently stated me to not to pay my car note! She SHOULD HAVE NEVER gave any legal advice SINCE SHE IS NOT AN ATTORNEY, especially since it was not the correct advice. She continued to LIE about the progress of my case and never gives me any update unless I call or leave a very aggressive voicemail, which then leads her to give me a FALSE UPDATE. Anytime she has called me and left a voicemail, she calls me someone else’s name, showing me not only is she not invested in my case but doesn’t care nor even have the simple knowledge of knowing my name. Suzy has completely destroyed the opportunity for me to get another car and I am utterly disgusted with her lack of empathy. I wouldn’t refer Shook and Stone, even if it was pro bono! I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND! PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE BECAUSE THE DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR CASE AND WILL NOT HELP YOU THERE!
