I went to Rosenblum Allen Law Firm seeking help with a child support issue. My question was simple: why weren't my payments being applied to the correct account? The answer turned out to be straightforward-because I was mistakenly sending payments directly to my second wife instead of through the District Attorney's Office. The DA's office was knowingly redirecting the payments to my second wife because they didn't realize I was already paying her directly. This is a common situation that anyone familiar with family court should have easily clarified. Instead of providing clear guidance on how to resolve the issue, Rosenblum Allen Law Firm complicated the situation and charged me thousands of dollars in legal fees. While they seem very good at keeping track of their billable hours, I found their focus wasn't on resolving my problem. They didn't offer the honest and efficient service I expected for such a straightforward issue. Thank you for your response. However, looking back at my case and the outcome, it’s clear to me that the issue was overblown. What should have been a straightforward clarification about misdirected payments was made unnecessarily complicated, leading to confusion and significant legal fees. I understand that billing is an important part of any business relationship, but my original concern was about the service I received and the complexity of the issue I sought help with. While I appreciate the time you dedicated to my case, I felt that a simpler, more honest approach would have sufficed. My concern isn’t just about the billing, but rather how the matter was handled. What seemed like a simple issue was turned into something much larger than necessary. The focus of my feedback was on the guidance I expected, which I didn’t feel was given. While I understand the billing for legal services, I believe the situation could have been resolved more efficiently and without the unnecessary complications that arose.
